La Nebulosa del Alma se encuentra en la constelación de Cassiopeia. Frecuentemente es observado con IC 1805 y a esta pareja se les consideran las “Nebulosas del Alma y Corazón”. Se cree que ambas son regiones de formación estelar intensa. Los estudios de estrellas y cúmulos como los que se encuentran en las Nebulosas del Alma y Corazón se han concentrado en cómo se forman y afectan su ambiente las estrellas masivas.

Soul Nebula
6.550 light-years

The Soul Nebula is found in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is often viewed with IC 1805 and the pair is considered the “Heart and Soul Nebulae”. Both are thought to be regions of intense star formation. Studies of stars and clusters like those found in the Heart and Soul Nebulae have focused on how massive stars form and affect their environment.
